Membership Expires During Submission

If I submit on a collectors club special this month but my membership expires while it is being reviewed do I have to renew during the submission? Thanks

My guess, and only a guess, would be that you would be fine....I'd think that a postmark would be good enough or perhaps, when they logged the order (when charges to your credit card are made). I always renew ahead of time so I don't really know but I'd figure that you should be fine post loggage for sure.

That wasn't the case with me. I sent in a sub last year postmarked 2 days before my membership expired.
When my sub was logged 4 days later, my status was received "hold" and I called and they told me my membership expired.
I called and renewed it right then and there, but like you I thought I would be fine by common sense.
I would call ahead of time and ask for sure.

As long as it logs before your membership expires, you're fine! I did it the last two years, and didn't re-up until a good special came along again... Sadly, that was a 4 month gap last year!!!

Sort-of related, I recently renewed and it took my packet two full weeks to arrive. That's just a little longer than normal, but I'm satisfied.

This happened to me last month. My membership expired on 6/10/12 and package was logged on 6/12/12 (but they had it in their possession prior to the 6/10/12 date). They graded it no problem and never asked me to renew.
