What can you tell me about my son's 1818 Large Cent?

Tuesday night is Large Cent night at coin club this week. I don't own any, but my 14 year old son picked this one out of a bargain bin at a show last year; yes it's rough, but it's his and it's the oldest coin either of us own.
Can you large cent experts tell me anything interesting about it that we can share with the club tomorrow night?
Perhaps it's an R6 die marriage? Is that a cud at 3:00 on the obverse? Anything you can offer would be appreciated.

don't know of any cuds for the year or marriage
i will say it is nice to see your son pick something like this instead of something post 1900
.
Any other thoughts/input from the daytime crowd?
