"Official" Rookie Baseball Cards

Is there a list of "official" rookie baseball cards? I'm trying to assemble a set of rookie cards from baseball players born in Indiana.

here is a good list of the Baseball Hall of Famers...
it includes the "true rookie cards" (1st cards issued) of them all, not the gimmicky ones issued years after their first pro season that are sometimes collected as rookies ie 1948B Musial, 1938 R323 DiMaggio, 1949 Leaf JRobinson, etc.
