Dealer wants plus $1 per ounce? Don't these get better premiums?

Spot + $1. is an O.K. deal for Engelhard 10oz. bars if you desire one. Or fifteen.
I've been quoted anywhere from spot + .50 cents to spot + $3.00 for these bars in the last year. Spot + $1.50-$2.00 seems
to be the 'sweet spot' for these at most shows...YMMV.

$1 over is good on a poured 10 oz engelhard. The right bars can go for much more. I'm assuming you are talking about a common one.

Old style poured Engelhard 10 oz bars are fairly common and usually don't bring a big premium. Of course, there are rare varieties that do bring a premium.

hard to tell without a picture. What some people think are poured end up not being.
