These were free set registry grades for my 1986 Fleer Basketball Collection. These were mostly bought on eBay, with a couple in person. The card that ruined it for me was the Wilkins. I thought it was a 10 for sure and paid a huge premium (like in the PSA 9 type range for it). I really must have missed something. With that miss, I'll go from what usually is a profitable hobby of buying raw and getting graded to what will basically be a break even endeavor.
I also learned, it's way better to just buy a graded Patrick Ewing. For whatever reason, the cards are very condition sensitive. I've held half a dozen that looked good on eBay but were ungradeable when seeing them in person over the last month or so. This one example will be a really strong 8. Also slightly disappointed in the Isiah. IMO 8.5 is the kissing your sister grade. Overall, everything else graded out where I thought it would:
