I am asking a serious question and not trying to be funny Kirk. Why would you sub those with BVG instead of PSA?

    1) Turn around time(logged in actual day received and graded within 10 days)
    2) I like their cases
    3) They were running a 10 day special
    4) In my experience BVG mid grade sells for close to the same as PSA or SGC.

A couple of nice Aarons and a Mays there.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

If the cards were in the exact same grade PSA or SGC holders the group would sell for a minimum of 20% more than they would in the same grade BVG holders. If however you tried crossing them over to PSA or SGC, you'll be doing well to see only one grade drop per card. The big drop to more accurate lower grades would mean a big drop in the prices realized. So selling them in their current naturally higher graded BVG holders could realize more than if they were in properly graded PSA or SGC holders. The sooner dumped the better as the pool of inexperienced buyers attempting BVG crossovers to PSA and SGC decreases with each purchase.

I would be curious to hear how you've acquired these opinions, since I either flatly disagree with or am fairly skeptical of just about every claim you've made here.

I love how the automatic assumption is that he is selling them! It sounds to me like he had his reasons and wanted them graded by Beckett! End of story! Enjoy the cards Captain Kirk! image

My question is why are you talking about BVG cards on the PSA website?

Why not? It's hobby and card related.

Look at the forum title, sports cards and mem., he wasn't posting in the psa set registry forum or something.

Many people on this board will say that BVG grading is a joke and many on the beckett boards will say the same about PSA. My opinion would be that both assumptions would be wrong. I like to use both PSA and Beckett and I don't see a problem with that. They are both legit companies regardless of what some "homers" might think. Enjoy the cards my friend.
