For those of you who have dealt with probstein123

Just wanted to let you know I met Rick at his office of operation this week. My dad and I had a nice drive up to Paramus NJ. The best part of the trip was
that there was a Dunkin Donuts right across the street. My dad and I love their coffee.

Rick is a very pleasant guy, and he comes across as a much better businessman then I'll ever be. He's a good guy for the hobby, and he employs a decent amount
of workers too. Just wanted to reach out to those of you that use Rick's services that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit (except for that North Jersey traffic !). What do they do with all that money they collect on the Garden State parkway ??? They must collect over a million each day.

  • Lucky you. I asked twice if he had a store or office for a visit!!!
It must have been like what the travelers felt finally reaching the land of Oz when you got there. Congrats.

I've bought a fair amount from Rick this year. Always a pleasure to buy from him. Quality stuff and amazing service.

I believe Rick moved within the past month.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

It's more of an office then a store. Just imagine your basement filled with odds and ends ready for ebay.
Then imagine about 6 to 10 workers that all have their own computer to list items.
Then imagine yourself on the other side of the room handling the business end of everything.

For fantasy sake, imagine your workers walking across the street to get coffee every hour on the hour image

Do not get the impression of the land of Oz. Sort of think of it like Cardboard Costco image
However, it would be kind of cool if instead of Rick sitting behind a desk, he could sit behind a curtain with a loud microphone when I walked in.

He is a short man that wears a Kippah. Do not arm wrestle him, you will not win. He deals in sports cards often times consigning collections.
After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

This made me chuckle. Being from the same area I can tell you that a Dunkin Donuts is never more than a quick stroll away in any direction. And yes, North Jersey traffic SUCKS.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
