1982 Topps Blackless - what are they worth ?

I have a 1982 Topps Carew (#500 & Allstar #547) in SGC 88 holders. What can I expect to yield from these in terms of price?

Thanks,

Gary

You mean blackless? If its backless, it will have little value.

I put together a set of the 1982 Topps blackless cards ( 396). It along with the Topps 1985 Mini set, are in my view the toughest Topps sets of the 1980s. The 2011 SCD Standard Catalog lists a blackless set in top condition at $ 5500. Someone starting today will have a very hard time completing the set at any price.

SCD lists the 2 Carews at $ 45 and $ 25, but there is a Carew AS card on ebay now unclaimed at $ 29. The Carew cards were on the A sheet, and are a little less scarce than the B and C sheet blackless cards. If you want a good run down on the blackless cards in general see the description on the Carew card now on ebay. That seller knows more about them than anyone.

By the way, these card showed up in packs. Most A sheet cards in NY and most B and C sheet cards in Michigan
