More Saturday Flea Market fun

Same guy as last week. Brought some more stuff in and gave me a decent deal on the lot. Paid $60 for all of it. Middle box is 90% all stars and HOF from 78 through 85 or so. Bunch of early to late 70s hockey, football and baseball stars in the other boxes. Saw a nice 80 Walter Payton while thumbing through. Desert Shield McGwire that looks really nice. I'll get to sorting through it all later and scan some highlights. Think I did pretty well again .

I hope you pull some good stuff out of it. I picked up a collection like that a couple weeks ago. Still got a bunch to sort through.

Nice pickups! The top left card is a 1969 topps football 4 in 1 insert, the first series wax packs included 3 of them with a team booklet as well plus 9 regular cards.

Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972

    LOL

I will stick to his Wrestling All Stars cards.

That looks like a lot of opportunity for $60. Good luck!

I think you did alright for $60.....I went garage sale-ing this past week and found not much of anything.....spent $5 on a wall hanging with sports items in it, not anything old but a nice item to put on the basement wall....

Nice pickups and thanks for sharing. I like the odd balls too. What is the Santo?

  • << <i>Nice pickups and thanks for sharing. I like the odd balls too. What is the Santo? >>

I am pretty sure the Santo is from the 1970 Milton Bradley Baseball Game.

Me too! I love those old player cups!
  • I thought I would share my weekend garage sale find. I picked up 132 sealed Harley Davidson beer cans from Daytona going back to 1985. Most are still in the 6-packs. Also in the lot was a few Billy Beer (President Carters brother) 6-packs.

--ZEP-that Manama card is awesome. Nice find!

I had a full Dominique Wilkins (I used to collect Wilkins) Grape Fanta can from ?, anyways, it was on a mantle shelf in my man cave, long story short the sugar ate through the can and it leaked all over the freaking place. Fun time cleaning that up. You'll probably be much safer with beer but it reminded me of that.
  • They were sitting in a corner of someones garage, one exploded and got beer on a couple of the 6-packs. Other than that no issues. I actually traded some Grady Sizemore RCs and some Travis Hafner rcs for the cans. They were graded rookies but I couldnt resist the cans.
