Have you seen anyone collecting PSA OC cards?

I collect more for the enjoyment than investment (although I do catch myself looking occasionally at how my cards are growing in $$). I like most it seems here hold centering as a critical issue in my card collecting and have avoided purchasing a card many times on eBay as it is labeled OC. However today while crusing eBay without the intent to purchase, I noticed a HOF football rookie card from the 70's who's PSA 9 OC card goes for about 1/8 of what the PSA 9 card sells for, it got me to thinking (and I know this 1/8 the cost is not proportional for all OC cards). You can build a really nice collection of high end cards for an amazing price if you decided a little OC is ok.
Does anyone here (or do you know anyone), who has built a nice high grade OC set for a fraction of the high grade price?

Cards from the 1980's to today, I would not buy a OC, MC or any other issue.
Cards from the 1970's and earlier are known for centering issues. So, on rare cards OC is OK. The 1979 Topps Ozzie Smith Rookie is almost impossible to find centered.
