For sale here is 1942 proof Mercury Dime housed in an old Hannes Tulving slab from the late 1980s. Some of you may know the history behind these slabs, but for those who don't, here is a link to a thread ATS that provides a good summary (see fourth post). I've seen several coins over the past few years in Tulving slabs including Franklin halves, Kennedy halves, Morgan dollars, and Peace dollars, but never a Mercury dime.
I believe the grade on this slab to be correct (most Hannes Tulving slabs I've seen had properly graded coins in them) give or take a point. The slab itself is in pretty good shape with no scratches or marker or pen marks that some of these slabs have from dealers. As much as I wish I could get the $818 price on the slab (sigh), I am looking for around $150 OBO. I will offer a no questions, one week return period minus my shipping costs since this is basically a raw coin and my photos aren't the greatest.

Tulving sold all the raw coins in their inventory in these slab like holders.
That's the item number and price on the label as it was listed on their inventory sheets they mailed out.
Merc proofs are way under priced right now. JMHO
