Question about "Private Listing" on ebay

What is thoughts from the boards on ebay sellers who have mostly "private bidders" on bids for their items and the same for their feedback.

They are hiding something. I would not place a bid on a private auction or with a seller that has private feedback.

I'm sure there is some legit reason for some of it, but to me it might as well just be a listing for a Nigerian money order.

I view Private auctions as basically saying:

"Hi, you will be bidding against me, the seller, in this auction."

Yep, usually means they are shilling early and often.
