eBay NPB; worth reporting?

I have 3 buyers that have not paid for auctions that ended over a month ago. They are all items that sold for $5 or less. Is it even worth reporting them? What happens if I do? What happens if I don't?

Absolutely it's worth it. I believe eBay (still) has a three strikes and you're out policy for NPBs. You'll also get your final value fees back.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Can the buyer leave me negative feedback if I report him?

Please do report them immediately. Sellers can no longer give bad buyers negative feedback so the only way to police lousy buyers is to file NPB claims against them when they don't pay.

Once you open up the NPB claim, I believe that the buyer cannot give you negative feedback.

If the transaction was not completed, the buyer cannot leave negative. If they are even allowed to at this point, it will be removed. Absolutely file the NPB and help clear out some of these idiots.
  • I use Ebay Auto Assistant. That way ebay opens up their own claims against buyers that don't pay. I also typically move people to my block list if I have to open up a claim against them. Plus if a buyer contacts you and asks for extra time you can turn the assistant off. I invoice them 2 days before the assistant is going to open a claim against them, so they have extra opportunity to fork over the cash.

  • You should also post their user ID's here. I'm working on a list of my "deadbeat club" members from the last month or so that I'm going to post.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

  • Rick, are you having a higher percentage of NPB's lately? I used to average one every three set breaks I ran, the last two months it has been 2 per set break.
