Anyone see 75Topps Boog Powell auction?

Hi All,

New member on the boards. Hope to be talking with you often.

Quick point - anyone catch that ebay auction ending last week where a 1975 Boog Powell PSA 9 sold 400+ bucks?

I collect 75 topps 9's and was a little gutted by the price - i know there are only 19 but gotta bleieve the card's popularity is driven by more than the scarcity?

Thoughts?

Mark

I don't think it was a crazy price, as 4 of the past 5 have sold for over $400.00.

That has to be one of the most popular sets so I'm sure there are lots of potential bidders out there.

Is 1975 the only set you are chasing PSA 9's from? How much of the set have you finished off thus far?

Looking forward to seeing your posts on the boards.

  • Maybe $400+ was a bargain!

  • Crazy how about the 1975 TOPPS #343 Danny Frisella PSA 9 selling for $1300.
  • It's a razor sharp card!
