Some of you may have seen the BST offer last week from Quarter1822, for a group of 14 late date Standing Liberty quarters that included a 1927-S, and for which were described as Good condition. Since Tim essentially offered the group for melt, I committed to buy it, expecting a modest margin for the 1927-S on resale. The coins arrived today, and I got a huge surprise! The 1929 in the group of late dates is easily AU-50! I know this wasn't a mistake by Tim, but rather was a generous act that I appreciate, but I think Tim deserves fair market for this coin. I'll offer it here for $45 delivered, with a guaranteed money back return privilege if you don't agree that this is AU50 or better.
