New 8 Reales - wire strikethrough and ... something else?

Received a new 8 Reales from Craig Keplinger today and it's a neat one. Great luster and light toning.

Appears to have been struck through a small piece of wire and something else that left depressions on Carlos IV's jaw and chest. Definitely has a coolness factor and will fill a slot in my registry set for Carlos IV.

Pretty coin and a really nice looking image. The S looks smaller than the rest of the letters. Is that normal?
