"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose, Cardinal.
Which roughly translates to "happy days are here again". Of course, by the time the Romans started putting that on their coins, they were sadly mistaken and their empire was in decline. It was wishful thinking, if not pure propaganda.
I like "RESTITVTOR ORBIS", too. Those show the emperor standing, holding a globe. Another propagandistic claim, meaning "restorer of the world. Or more correctly "restorer of the globe", perhaps, since "restorer of the world" would be "RESTITVTOR MUNDI" or something like that, wouldn't it?
Those "globe" coins go to show how that whole thing about how everyone before Columbus thought the world was flat is a myth. The Romans knew it was a sphere, and I would be surprised if the Greeks before them didn't know that, too. That Archimedes chap was pretty savvy.

NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT (No-one provokes me with impunity.) - Found as incused edge lettering on the 1984 Scottish One Pound.
This has always been mine too , it actually goes back several hundred years.I think the earliest coin Ive seen it on personally is from around the 1600's , i had it tattooed around a thistle many years ago,the thistle being Scotlands national flower.
