Godi, Fiorenza, poi che se' sì grande
che per mare e per terra batti l'ali,
e per lo 'nferno tuo nome si spande!

(Take joy, O Florence, for you are so great
your wings beat over land and sea,
    your fame resounds through Hell!)

    I agree!
I know little about guns but do know those babies look awsome.
I wish I knew what caliber, make etc they are.
    Best.

The pistol is a GSG 1911 with custom grips and a fiber optic front sight added. 10 round magazine. The rifle is a GSG 522 with a collapsible stock and 2X red/green dot scope. 22 round magazine. Both are in 22lr caliber.
The price of ammo for my big guns was eating into my PM money so I picked these up. Now I can spend 2 hours at the range and spend less then an oz of silver for ammo.
I sighted in the 522 and dumped 2 magazines into the target 20 yards away ( that's the farthest my range goes) and this is how it shoots. No to bad for a $300 plinker with a $100 worth of mods on her.

I know, I'm still shooting a bit low. I still have a little tweaking to do on the sight and I should have used a silver quarter instead if a clad one in the picture.image

So the title of this thread says post your new purchases, and this is a precious metals forum. Amazing how off track it's gotten.

And backed up by my previous "silver 44" purchase.
Who says 'silver' doesn't go up in value. Originally $544, now sells new for $749.

At the very last minute, I jumped in the van at lunchtime and shot up to my favorite buying location.
I was just there monday so it felt funny, and glad I didn't wait till tomorrow.

10 ASEs in really pristine shape for $295. 5 right out of the tube and 5 in littleton holders.

Summer weekend ahead, I'm going tomorrow too. Much more fun than Costco, and I still have the money when I'm done shopping!
