Todays Garage Sale Finds -- American History

Ill be posting scans of the other items later, but I wanted to share these with everyone. Not sports related but I think they are cool. This is a small sample of the papers that were in the tote.
I also picked up some Hot Wheels, Pez and a few sports items. Scans to follow later.

If you look close, after the magazine was printed they went back and glued on a piece of paper on the cover that reads "In memory of JFK" Top Left.

  • Great finds!!

Important parts of history. I love seeing garage sale/flea market finds.
    Miconelegacy Auctions
"Live everyday, don't throw it away"
  • Im going to guess the seller was a sibling to the owner of the contents. Sibling died or in a nursing home. Everything was like retail prices, car jack $120.00 for example. I saw this purple tote sitting next to the garage and lifted up a section of papers and saw the Kennedy killed paper and and him whats the price for the tote - 5.00 bucks he says. Couldnt pay the man fast enough. Theres a piece or two thats im going to send down to 80's Collector, and ill offer up some of the other sports articles to who ever wants them (player team articles).

Very cool items for sure. If you ever get to a chance watch "loose Change" its a 9/11 conspiricy documentory that also touches on other big events leading up to the World Trade Center attacks.

There is a morbidly weird 3 snapshot take of Johnson getting sworn in after the assasination and in the 3 frames you see an unidentified guy actually smiling and winking at him after he was sworn in, I take it for what its worth and dont look into it and make judgements but pretty interesting to watch.
