I added a Baseball card to my collection!!

I just got this bad boy in the mail today. It is the first baseball card I have bought in a long time to keep.


This is going up on the wall in the case next to the Panini Tyson rookies!

    Collecting:
    Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

    Which card did PSA grade? The outer frame "card" or the inner Tyson card? Or both?

    That's a beaut, D! And I guess it does technically qualify as a baseball card due to the set - but it's still a "boxing" card in my biased eyes image

    FYI ... the below items are used in a game of baseball ... Never saw Iron Mike use them! HAHAHA

    Only the card is graded, not the frame. Some people also cut the card out from the frame. PSA grades the card either in or out of the frame.

    Thanks for clarifying McAdams I would not have known the answer to that question.

    I have seen a handful that are graded by BGS with just the little mini card. I happen to like the way it looks with the frame better and I of course wanted one in a PSA slab.

    Baseball card or boxing card I think this is a really neat card. It is Tyson's first on card auto from any set and I hate the fact that most of the newer cards show him with the facial tats. I wanted one that had a picture of him in his prime.

    I think this is a very visually appealing card and it only made sense to try and get a Gem Mint example to add to the Tyson collection.

    That's a great card and IMHO one of the more desirable A&G auto cards.
