Working On a Refrence Book

I have decided to build a "refrence book" of all Topps and Bowman issued cards (baseball and football) from introduction to present. I am looking for one raw common from each year. Im looking for cards in PSA 5-7 condition or better with good eye appeal.

In return I would like to run this thread kinda like a "Pay it Forward" thread. You tell me what players/team(s) you like and I will send you a small package of cards from your team(s). I open mostly modern but might suprise you with something. I think this is a cool project that I can pass on down the line to the kids/grandkids. Should be fun.

Cool project. You are welcome to the Campanella cards in my registry if you want. They're all well centered examples and some of them even meet your grade requirements. LOL

Set Registry If you want front/back scans I have those in my PhotoBucket.

This would make a great website. You could even expand to other sets in the future. Good luck!

    Want List:
'61 Topps Roy Campanella in PSA 5-7
    Cardinal T206 cards
    Adam Wainwright GU Jersey
  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he wants actual copies of the cards. It seems like it would be easy enough to do this with commons at a local shop or show as opposed to having 60 different people ship you something.

Oops. My bad. I misread it and thought he wanted scans of every Bowman and Topps card. Please disregard my post. LOL

  • I was hoping that a few members might each have a handful, I was not wanting 60 people involved in this. As for local shops, they dont exsist here and I dont get to many shows. Any help would be appreciated.

I think to avoid confusion what the OP is seeking is more commonly referred to as a "type collection" as opposed to a Reference Book
Successful dealings with Wcsportscards94558, EagleEyeKid, SamsGirl214, Volver, DwayneDrain, Oaksey25, Griffins, Cardfan07, Etc.

To make Maurice happy, I will gladly pay for the common cards that I am looking for. Why would I be looking for a handout, your just running your mouth for no damn reason. Its people like you who ruin this board. You got to run your mouth about eveything even though nothing involves you. I have helped out several members on here and asked nothing in return, so dont use my name and handout in the same sentence. You nothing more than an ALT of some wortless slob who got booted off here before for running your mouth. What a tool.

  • Pretty transparent. In an effort to get free cards, you've concocted an inane story about a "refrence [sic] book" that you will "pass on down the line to the kids/grandkids". The only thing missing from your original post is a "god bless".

Why dont you turn on your PM because im not going to put other members through your stupidity anymore!

No where in my original post does it say "I want free cards" it says trade for your players/team. Last I checked this was a Buy/Sell/Trade thread.
