I just picked up this uncut panel and want to cut the cards to the pacquiao card slabbed. I suck at this and have ruined cards in the past. I'm wondering if anyone who is skilled at cutting would be willing to cut the card for a fee. Please pm me if anyone is interested.

Just a word of caution.
I have hand cut hundreds of box bottoms over the years and have submitted them to PSA.
PSA has sent back cards that are the same exact size as PSA 8 or 9, and PSA Authentic.
I have remeasured these cards when I get them back, and there is no difference in the size of the cut.
Just wanted to let you know so that you don't get upset at the person you choose to cut the cards, if they cut them, and they
come back Authentic from PSA. Please contact PSA and find out the size requirements needed for the cards too.
Also, I have cut cards with perfect cuts, and have also botched up a few. The handle on the cutter can jar loose sometimes. So
95% of my cuts have been awesome, but a small percentage have a minor tilt, but PSA has not penalized that from what I've seen.
Best of luck.
I believe that PSA will slab the entire sheet though, as they do this for the Hemmets.
"Unfortunately, I can't really tell what the minimum size requirement for the cut card should be. There tends to be some wiggle room for Hand Cut cards as far as where to cut, but it is important that the cut corners be as square as possible. From the scans the customer sent in earlier, it looks like the cards have white borders between each boxer image in the panel - the customer might want to maintain the white border instead of cutting along image itself (less chance of mistakenly cutting actual picture)"
Good luck to anyone who has this.. Hopefully you get a number grade. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about mine
Can you send me a picture of the front cover of the magazine so I can keep a lookout for the magazine? Thanks!
Good luck with your search! If you manage to find some (and want to sell), I'm buying clean mags for $200-250.
Sumo, that's correct, although a lot of the cards are of older boxers.

Sumo, that's a good start. I'll assist where I can, but it's a difficult set. Perhaps it'll send up being a truly classic release, who knows. Either way, it's tough as heck.
<< <i>Are you going to grade any more of them? >>
I'm not sure yet - I might throw the PSA 9 on ebay to see what it gets, or I might hold tight. I'm not in a rush to sell, as this set is a huge sleeper imho.

Yes, I'm sure this is going to be a monster set to put together especially since it was released over the span of 5 years. My current digging found about 10% of the cards available right now on the market in uncut sheets still in the magazines. A little more digging will probably get that to the 20-25% range. The next 75% is going to have to trickle in over the years....unless a hoard gets released at some point. And then you have to deal with importing them to the US....so it wouldn't be a small feat and not cheap. Heck, this is what makes it fun though!

Do the sheets come out cleanly from the magazine or do you have to trim them a little if you want to get the sheet slabbed?
<< <i>I'm debating trying to put the set together, but it would be a multi-year effort for sure... >>
I'm seriously debating putting another raw set together. We'll see how this run of 1999 magazines goes.
