Timmy Speaks!!! - All Is Well !!!

We have a big stake in helping them deal with this more effectively

I love that quote!

Maybe Timmy will offer to give the IMF some borrowed money to give to europe to help with their debt problems!

But, never fear.... all is well ...and this is different from the way it's felt before. They're not minimizing the risks and they're not telling us that they have a whole bunch of time to wait.

There was time before? The fact that they final realize this when the S is really HTF only makes it more poignant that it feels different because it's worse than before.

We gave them the best we got at the G7 last month -- "did you try austerity AND growth ?"

what else can we do to help them? Print Euros?

I'm at a loss. I guess we will see what miracles they have next week.

I'm expecting a genuine rabbit from the hat next week.

All the world's a stage! Glad we're in the audience of the world financial crisis, not the featured actors nor the producers or directors of this madcap farce

There's no effective way to hold it together w/o creation of a common Euro bond used by all member nations. Of course they can
continue to print fiat money to buy more time.

I think Germany will continue to balk at a eurobond and eurobank

there would be no incentive for the loser nations to stop their loser actions.

It depends on what his definition of "We" is, and it also depends on what he means by "more effectively".

By "We", does he mean Goldman Sachs? By effectively, does he mean socializing the banking losses?

I hope so, cuz I bought a bunch of calls on it today.

  • I'm waiting for the suggestion that the USA join the EuroZone and convert all the dollars to Euro. They we too can be on the hook for all the welfare states of Europe.

I don't know why they can't practice some fiscal austerity and restraint like we do here in California.
