Just going through some things tonight and felt inspired to give a few things away. I sometimes run things like this out on eBay but thought I'd offer them up to those that want them here first. Admittedly there is nothing amazing here, but I thought especially those with kids might want some of it. Post your claim for what you want, then email me with the item and your address (card_country@yahoo.com). I'll ship it at the end of this week. Please only 1 lot per person. Here are the lots:
#1: 1988, 1989 Donruss and 1988, 1989 Fleer complete Sets- Factory Sealed (4 sets total)
#2: 1986 Donruss Super Diamond King complete set- factory wrapped

Jeff - Very nice to do this on your part. A lot of the '80's stuff brings back memories.
<< <i>I'm confused- who is Sean? Are you mistaking me for someone else (alt= alternate ID?)? Actually, my name is Jeff Foy. Many people from here know me from selling cards either at the sun times show, the national (see 2012 vendor list), or on eBay. I live in the indianapolis area (fishers actually) and I am a physician. I joined the boards recently for the comraderie that seems to exist among many of the members. I hope to make some friends who share my common interest. >>
Great thread Jeff and welcome. Yes Alt means just that. Many people get banned for posting nasty things then they come back for more and more under new ID's. It's how they get fulfillment out of their lame azz lives.
Awesome gesture again!!
Are you setting up at the National this year?? Look forward to your future posts.

Put it this way, the smart gents in the room would never buy from him! Cool freebies though!

Well at least he's not buying known altered cards and then pawning them off on these boards, just so happening to forget to disclose they are altered, but rather calling them NM, NM/MT, or MINT. Right HoneyBadger!
<< <i>Cool gesture but I guess he can afford to given his insanely high prices at shows! 20% over SMR in some cases!
>>
What is this SMR you refer to?? Is it connected to market prices somehow??
Seriously, a dealer who marks his stuff high but then probably will negotiate down?? Inconceivable!!

Do you have a physical location for your Card County? I'm not aware of any shops close to me.
Welcome to the boards!

This place is getting un-frigging believeable. I really think that this board should adopt a policy like the Net54 boards has that a poster must put his name in the post if they are going to say something such as this so they cannot hide behind a screen name. This crap is getting out of control

The absolutely juvenile personality traits that lead people to create alts being what it is, I'm surprised the board doesn't have some sort of probationary period for users. Of course, at the rate this place is going, it may not be here much longer.

And no idea what mb is whining about. I don't even own a single card my whole collection is unopened. All of it.
<< <i>I'd be fine with that. Happy to sign my name Bob.

How about offering up your last name as well? That is the rule on Net54 and, considering the feedback thread just got locked down because of a fight maybe added our real names and links to a Facebook page (as an example to show who we really are) is a practice that might be put into place here. I would bet that this would stop a good deal of the cr*p that is going on here

I just received my selection of Topps traded sets and they look extremely decent and are probably mint condition (Haven't taken them out of the box). I just wanted to say Thank You and that was an extremely nice gesture giving away some cards.
Have a great w/e!
Thanks, Paul.
