Will you regret if you do not buy more now? May depend on how well 'stacked' your base may already be..

I've learned not to be in a big hurry. That's probably the one single most important constant I can think of in investing.

Well, that depends on how PMs perform versus alternative investments. If they do better, then, obviously, yes. If metals do worse than the other bets, then no. Time will tell.

Did most of the base building in 1999-2004, now it's just a brick here and a disc there as more of a collection, took some profits at $35-40 silver, would make a significant junk silver buy if it fell below 24 and reload the truck at 18 or so. between those numbers, just hanging out and making and losing the same dollar, day after day, I never have enjoyed trading noise and skimming spare change.

I won't regret it either way.

Im not buying unless it gets down to 20 dollars or so, if it then falls to $5 an ounce or rises to $50 an ounce Im happy either way with my decision to play it safe and not throw big money at pm's, my security is in US Dollars.

I don't regret not buying more a couple years ago. And I am happy with the amount I am adding currently. You can't just blindly go all in on any investment. And you can't dwell on what has or hasn't happened in the past. You just have to make the best decisions you can in the now, with the information you have.

Nope, there's always a bull (or bear) market somewhere.

  • I do not have any regrets because I am always buying silver art bars that I like and and I am enjoying the ones that I bought. The only regret that I might have would be if spot silver goes up so high to the point where I can no longer afford to buy any more of them to add to my collection.

I will define "now" as the last 45 days.

Since early May I have added as much silver and gold I could afford. No regrets here.

While I'm not in the position to buy multiple gold coins at a time,I do buy one on a regular basis.Silver more so due to affordability. No matter what the price,I will keep buying for now.My concern now is the premiums.Buying raw coins from a reputable dealer is my preference to paying a high premium.

I quit being anxious past $660...about 2008 or so- IIRC.

Silver lost it's appeal to me past $15.

I'm very uncomfortable beyond what it takes to get it out of the ground.

    Sleep is important to me.
    Have a nice day

Pardon my further inquiry, but it sounds like such a good deal and I'm still learning how to buy... Were these slabbed or just a good deal you found that are also 69/First Strike?

(ps, today I got 2 more, 08 ASE boxed proofs at $50 and a $5 (1/10) AGE in its folder for $176. Not terrific deals, but there was nothing else at hand.
