Best newer boxes out there 1995- present

I'm not all the way back into collecting cards yet, but I'm getting there image
Anyways.... If I were to buy newer unopened baseball boxes, what is the best value for my money.
1995- present

Thanks ahead of time.

Topps Heritage as they are the only cards I can identify from 95 to present. I am not sure of their long term potential as there value do not seem to increase from time of release.

The 2001 Topps TRADED has the Pujols and the Ichiro/Pujols cards. The regular just has Ichiro, I believe. But I agree, it's one of the best newer boxes to open. I pulled a Pujols PSA 10 out of a pack last year.
2.5 is pretty much my speed.

Unless you get lucky and pull the big card, there are really no newer boxes that are worth the money.

I buy 2 boxes of Bowman Chrome and 1 box of Bowman Sterling every year. I do not open.
  • 2002 Finest has some decent vet autos in it.

I like 1995 Bowman's Best, the "key rookies" Vladimir Guerrero, Andruw Jones, Bobby Abreu, Hideo Nomo, Carlos Beltran, Chris Carpenter, Bartolo Colon, Scott Rolen, etc... may not be as popular as they once where but the set is also loaded with All Stars and Hall Of Famers, Refractors are a fun chase.

I haven't bought a box yet but 2007 Bowman's Best has a pretty incredible checklist, lots of parallels and easy autographs (guaranteed pulls).
  • 1995 Bowmans Best baseball is a great product, I think you could be a spike in them down the road as set builders chase the refractors. I believe you got 6 refractors a box that year. Its funny looking back at products that came out of the gate like a cat on fire and now no one cares. I recall 1998 Leaf Rookies and Stars baseball at almost 20.00 a pack. J.D. Drew, Gabe Kapler, Fernando Seagenol (not sure the spelling), the high numbers and the blue chase set. Same with 1997 Bowman Chrome baseball. I agree that you cant really go wrong with putting back Bowman Chrome baseball. Topps Chrome football I think is a good one also to put back.

I liked the 1997 Finest baseball. All the refractors, embossed and die-cut cards were awesome.

I like any of the Topps Fan Favorites I think from 2001-2002? And also 2001 and 2002 Topps Archives Reserves

Edited to add: I also love the 2005 UD Heroes Tin Boxes...great stuff if you can find them. Id love to buy a case to open.
