autograph set that rivals the 1997 Legends auto set?.....ever?

I would never say never. Upper Deck came out with a 2012 college greats set based off the 97 Legends design. I had to do a double take when I saw them on Ebay. 2 bits of irony about the new set. #1 Many of the same players that are in the 97 set are in this set, but in the college uniforms. #2 There are 97 Legends buy back cards also inserted in packs.
But I agree. The 97 Legends Auto set is the best football autograph set of all time.
And I have the #1 set on the registry to prove it

As far as baseball goes, I liked the 1998 or 1999 SP Signature Edition. I think those were great looking cards.

I have been working on a 1999 SP Authentic Football set over the years...I realize that they are pretty readily available, but am doing it on a budget so, it takes a while longer. from a standpoint of how the set looks and reasonable affordability, I like this set
