In 186 8 1/2" by 11" pages, Mr. Stautzenberger traces the origins of the Charlotte Mint, discusses the legislation that established the three southern mints and addresses the construction and early staffing of the Charlotte Mint.
He includes extensive appendices, bibliography and endnotes that provide much background and additional information.
Copies of this book, self-published by the author in 1976, have long been difficult to obtain.
