New England Sportscards is amazing

Over 7000 positive feedback in one month.
Average card sales are between five and ten dollars.
That comes out to 35,000 to 70,000 dollars worth of cards being sold each month. Shipping is free.
That's almost 250 cards being sold per day.
I wonder how many are staffed to keep that operation going.
The book keeping itself must take all day long. Let alone the listings, sorting, and submitting to PSA.
That is one heck of an operation. I wonder how many hands are on deck.

<< <i>I read about them a lot on here. Just wanted a clarification. New England Sportscards = 3 sharp corners? >>
LOL--- great point ---- Sonny
thats the one.
all of 4SC leftover slop. advertize cards as mint. recieved and nmt or nmt/mt at best.
With the high grades recieved by 4sc.....they certainly know how to grade. but lets be honest when u sell as raw.
1948-76 Topps FB Sets
FB & BB HOF Player sets
1948-1993 NY Yankee Team Sets
I bought a bunch of 78 Topps football from them, sub'ed them for grading and got 9s a lot of the time.
The 71 Topps Baseball cards that I have received have all been accurately graded.
Their feedback is impressive too. 7244 positives, 5 neutral or negative. In one month.

There cards can't be to bad.
<< <i>I don't know who it was but someone on here got a Pop 1 PSA 10 Gem Mint from them not to long ago.

I've had 3 or 4 pop1 psa 10's over the last decade of buying from them. Mostly '04 - '06 when I was working on my Murphy master set.
Always buying Bobby Cox inserts. PM me.
Lots of cards aren't worth grading unless they come back at least a 9,
but they're still good looking cards that can fit nicely into someone's raw set.
NESC provides decent scans and reasonably accurate descriptions,
so I'd rate them way above average compared to other eBay raw card sellers
which may not be saying much ...

I posted about one in the past year; a 1978-79 basketball card. It's still Pop 1!
Just know that it's very unlikely you're going to get any 'steals'.

Pretty impressive operation.
If a raw seller whose primary business is to have their counterpart get strong cards graded and sell them moves a gem for pennies on the dollar they can't be that bad.
After reading and participating on this board for the past two years I have realized that many people will never be happy.
Not everyone in this world is scam artist. I sell to Canada with no tracking and just believe that the buyer will be pleased that a seller from the US will deal with them.
The mega sized operations like 4SC and New England Sportscards are good for the vast majority of people in the hobby. They are like a market maker in the stock market and provide liquidity to the card market.
It can be debated until the cows come home but in the end most of us win with someone putting that much capital on the line to try and make a profit selling trading cards.
MINT is MINT regardless weather the card is graded or raw. Then again the MINTstandard for my raw cards is usually higher than the grading companies.
Ive gotten a few keepers from NESC, but the vast majority have been overgrades. usually some kind of print flaws.
Just because I collect Raw doesn't mean I will except a lower standard card.
I have returned quite a few cards. I really don't purchase any more from them.
I don't like the vague descriptions and when I ask them a question about a cards they always reply with "I don't have that information"
To their credit Ive never had a problem returning cards.

However, If you are looking for NM+ cards than you will be happy. Most of the cards I purchase from them have that "pack fresh" feel/look to them and haven't been sitting around in a display case somewhere for years. In general I feel their prices are also very fair for the most part and you can usually get a very good idea of what the card will grade if you take a good look at their scans. On a couple occasions I have found a few PSA 10's and many PSA 9's from their raw cards. This usually happens for the cards that have lessor name players on them or a star players 2nd or 3rd year card. I have never had the feeling like they are intentionally trying to misrepresent the card they are selling. thats just my $0.02 on the whole situation.
With all my eBay raw purchases, I go in with the attitude that you need to knock at least one grade off what the seller lists a card at.
large scans are great too. Would buy from them again for my raw sets.
