Question and opinion regarding PSA holders

Do you think the PSA holders can cause chipping to the borders of sensitive cards like 71 topps black borders? Since the cards sometimes move in their holders I am concerned on a psa 9 or 10 that a border might get chipped. I have a few cards that sometimes move in their holders if I bring them to shows. Has anyone had this occur to them?

Could I get hit by lightning today? Possible but not probable. Don't think you have much to worry about.

I've always been somewhat surprised that many of the cards move around as well. I have a PSA 9 Bird/Magic RC and it's really loose and moves around pretty easily. Obviously, the simple solution is just not to handle the card too much but sometimes it's unavoidable

Actually....I prefer the SGC holder "NOT". When they put that gasket in there and it's too tight it can cause damage to the edges. My favorite is when the gasket is too tightly fitting to the card and the gasket has a slight jagged cut...........then it literally cuts right into the border of the card. I've seen this quite a few times. So needless to say.....the PSA holder is fine with me.

Yes, the PSA holder can cause some dings on the edges. I have not seen it so much on the top or bottom of a card but more along the sides.

I noticed this also when I received my first PSA graded card, a Barry Sanders Score Rc that I purchased off eBay. It slides something terrible? I would think they would try to stop this. What about BGS? Don't they put some kind of penny sleeve in there?
