Here they are! Very happy and will get to have many of these in red flips and into my sets. I just realized that I now I have the 1982 A set pretty much complete with 34 in red flips and the Bruiser Brody and the PSA 7 Andre the Giant. Will continue to upgrade.... Not a lot of commentary as I am coaching three nephews at the state wrestling tourney today and looking for some good results. Cannot wait!!!

OMG on the Atlas. Is that the one that came from me?

    Congrats!

It may have been I had two that were pretty nice and one was a 7. I forget to be honest but would not be surprised. That nine is the first auto that I have in a PSA DNA and of course there were some huge additions to my sets with Crusher and Bruiser and Adonis.....those are amazing hits in PSA/DNA slabs and the first of their kind. Buddy Rogers autos always sell really well and I have one that perhaps may find a way to Waxahachie. I guess the big one is the JYD as his rookie auto would bring a lot at auction but these are not going anywhere as this has been a fun quest. I am going to part with some of my Wrestling All Stars that are slabbed (unsigned) since I have these autos to take their place.

For those that don't know, the last Tony Atlas PSA 9 sold a few weeks back for $410.

To get a PSA 9 with a card that has been signed is unreal and the card itself is one of the most difficult in the set.

That is an awesome card Rob!

Tons of huge additions here. You must be thrilled to get to fill so many tough spots in your sets.

    Congratulations!!!!

Some great scores. Sweet some are 1/1 in PSA auto slabs. Is Bruiser the one you have where signed his real name?

I know before it was brought up Mil Mascaras was a tough one to get signed of the living guys in these sets. Read where he is in NJ this weekend at some shows doing signings.

Dick the Bruiser was signed in his original name......an index card went for a lot not too long ago....

Congrats on some real nice autos/cards.

I am sure one of those cards WILL find their way to Wax-ya-ma-call-it, TX!

Thanks these really helped fill my graded 1982-3 Wrestling All Star sets. I'm glad as I sold some of my graded cards during the big rush on ebay as I had this order at PSA/DNA. My immediate goal will be to get the graded cards I need from 1982 B and 1983 and get to 100% completion for all three sets.

Nice Dino Bravo. He did bench press 712 pounds, Jesse Ventura said he only lifted 2 pounds of the 714 on the bar. image

I was hoping to get a lot of upgrades at the August show in Charlotte but it has been rescheduled for next year so that may slow things down a little. I'd like to get all the living guys in PSA 7 or above with autos. The deceased guys are tough because there is so little out there to choose from. Most wrestlers signed programs instead of these cards.

Is that your Atlas or is it another one that I sent that came back a 7? I did not keep the scan to it.

    That is an awesome card!!!

A straight PSA 9 in the card is so tough and to have one signed is just amazing. That has to be easily one of the best cards in your signed Wrestling All Stars collection.

If it was the one from me I am glad it ended up in your hands.
  • wrestlingcardkingwrestlingcardking Posts: 4,555 ✭✭✭✭
I sent in two Atlas' and one was a 7 and then there was this 9. I did send in the 9 first as I thought it was a bit nicer but was not looking at a straight 9!

I was most puzzled by the Pat Patterson that was authentic only.... I sold off three of his autos I believe because I felt this was the nicest one. Now I would be happy with a five as I thought this could have been a 7. Win some and lose some I guess.

An authentic Dick the Bruiser is a really great autograph to have, I think a nice index card went for hundreds of dollars some months ago on ebay.

Not sure what Backlund was for mail order prices. Maybe dpeck knows. He has gotten stuff done through them.

  • Dpeck100Dpeck100 Posts: 10,912 ✭✭✭✭✭
I believe he was $25. The Superstar Graham cards I got signed were $20 and most of the wrestlers range from $15 to $30 through American Icon.

  • Prices don't seem bad at all. Nick Bockwinkel is $20 any item coming up. Will be interesting if Scott Hall shows up for the reschedule date on him for American Icons.
