RETURN EBAY ITEM FOR REPLACEMENT

Kind of off topic...bought a $200 train set off ebay. The train won't run and cars won't light up. Contacted seller and they emailed shipping tag to ship back on his dime and he said he'd send replacement. How am I protected if I don't have any kind of signed receipt showing item was received by him?

When you mail it out add signatue conformation at the PO. Think of the few bucks it costs you as an insurance policy.
