eBay question

ajaanajaan Posts: 17,113 ✭✭✭✭✭
I need to sell a set of 14 items. I have images of both the obv and rev of each image. I really don't want to upload that many images onto eBay. Will eBay allow me in the listing to include a link to the images on Photobucket?

    Yeap you can list all the pic's in the desc, but try to have the obv & re in the same pic. Might take some extra editing but will be worth it for ease of scrolling through.

    You can just use html code to make them show in your listing.

    yeap with photobucket put your curser over the pic and it gives a list of codes, just click image code and it should copy it instantly

    Yes when writing up the description in HTML mode simply copy the HTML code of photobucket into description area. When done flip over to standard view and you will see images embedded into text.

    Hey Don -

    Do you use TurboLister? If yes, it is very easy to copy and paste the link from Photobucket into the listing. Create a Template and use it to create listings. Just change the item's specific description and the name of the photo. Here's an example:

    <P>Here is a blah blah blah. </P>
    <P>Please see the scan, click on it for larger view. This is the lot you will receive. Thank you for looking and good luck! </P>

    <img src="http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/xxxx/yyyyyyyyyy/th_photoname.jpg"></a>
    </center>
    <p>For buyers outside of USA: Buyers are responsible for any Customs fees. Please don't ask me to falsify the customs form. <p>
    <P>I will combine multiple wins to save on shipping fees. Please wait for my invoice before making payment. Paypal to confirmed addresses only. <P>

    The 1st line with http is the actual Photobucket link. The 2nd is a thumbnail link that gets clicked on to open the larger photo. The xxxx and yyyyyyyy are your account names from Photobucket. If you look at my listings you'll see the setup.

    Edit to add: Turbo Lister is a free tool for eBay sellers - Turbo Lister

    I don't want to paste a link from Photbucket, I want to have a link to a Photobucket album.

    I haven't tried the album link but when you sign on to pbucket you should see a small window on the right side labeled "Share this album". It has a link for the entire album that you should be able to c&p into the listing.
