My SCP cards arrived today!

Very excited, many cards that I owned 20+ years ago have returned to my new collection. I certainly overpaid for some but I'm thrilled to be back in the hobby. If I have some time tonight ill post some scans.

If you are happy with the cards, you did not overpay.

I think rare, high grade mid-80's stuff will always be in demand, in all four sports.
I actually think the prices today are low (if the item is rare), as compared to ten years from now.
I know that sounds silly, but rare 80's in high grade is going to take off in the future.
i think saying DYC on the flip really adds to the card.
some really nice choices.

The problem with that is, very little stuff from the 80's will ever be considered rare. From Ripken's RC to Bonds' RC to Griffey's RC, there are many thousands already available in top grade. On top of that, there are mountains of cheap, unopened boxes out there. So if prices did start to climb, you'd see more product opened and a flood of submissions. The only cards that might qualify as rare from the decade are the Tiffany versions of certain sets.

You need to upload to a site like photobucket and link to that page.
