A tuff Buff to grade...your thoughts on this 25-s

Been a while since I chimed in. Hope all is going well for the forum gang.
Thought I would post this Buffalo and get some opinions. This is a tuff coin to find with good luster and strike, and can be tough to grade due to striking issues.
Care to GTG? Currently slabbed as MS64 Imo, the coin deserves at a minimum a plus designation. The only thing I see keeping this coin out of a 65 holder is a little too much die erosion on the reverse and just a tad bit too much weakness on the bison's head. Although there are quite a few with the same appearance currently slabbed as 65's.

This is another tough date to grade- I see 64 and that is likely a tad conservative

For those guessing 66, PCGS has only graded one 25-S as MS66 and that one sits in Gerald Forsythe's set.
By the way, it's great to have another Buffalo poster on here.

I'm no expert but I'm going to go with the 64 crowd here. First thought I'll admit was 66 but after reading comments of those more knowledgable, I took it down a notch or two.
It's outta my league! I'd be lucky to find a nice XF/AU for my set on this one.
Thanks for sharing.

I would probably guess minimum MS64, but this coin date is hard to grade except by those most familiar with the
coin series. Congrats on a great coin and thank you for sharing it with us.

For my set, I'm with nwcoast, where I would be happy with a nice XF/AU
<< <i>This is a nice coin...... Just to mushy for a 65 or better...... the surfaces are very nice but I feel it is at best a 64. I made a PCGS 65 a few years back and it had a superior strike. I also made a NGC 65 and an NGC 66. This date has been very good for me! >>
I was wondering how long it would be before you appeared.

Very nice coin for the date/mm!
Although it's very close to a 65 for that date/mm, I think grade guarantee physcoanalysis will hold it back to MS64 considering it skyrockets in price at the 65 grade level.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Here's mine. It's in an NGC old slab graded MS-62...Look how flat the hip bone and flank is. Most that look at this coin will think AU but there is zero rub on this coin. The luster is strong and I love the eye appeal. Yours has a much better strike.
