It seems as though the mint has one more gift coming for us!!!!
Since 2006, when the first "W's" came out the mintages were very low and have been going down every year since. Will this one do the same thing and is it time to dump some of the earlier ones to buy this one?
AND
Will they go by their new format (as with the two coin proof silvet set coming next month) and only sell through a 30 day window and then strike to demand???????????
It would be really interesting to know the sales figures before the coins even started delivery.

2012-W Uncirculated Gold Eagle
The US Mint has confirmed that they will offer the 2012-W Uncirculated American Gold Eagle. This coin is a numismatic version carrying the “W” mint mark and struck on burnished blanks. A release date for the coin has not yet been established, but the Mint expects it to be in the summer.
