The one good thing about these xmas racks is that they're easy to spot and avoid. Any idea what the value of the Robinson card would be if graded?

when you say secondary market, you mean someones basement. that is what these are these days. pretty sad when the market has evolved so much that it now fakes the fake packs
You mean the Barry brothers counterfeiting team is still selling with their (antiques*pplus) ID? I thought perhaps they would be in jail by now after all these years--unbelievable!

I also see that they currently have their "trademark" pack for sale on ebay, a 1979 Topps hockey wax tray--gee what a surprise. I guess some things never change!

The thing that bothers me about the Christmas racks is that they are like Gremlins. The supply just continues to multiply due to the uninformed buying them for prices like this Robinson.
When I search "rack pack" it seems there are as many Christmas racks as there are legit ones these days.

Speaking of after-factory rack packs there actually was a legitimate company back in the early 1960's called Ed-U-Toy that would package and sell Topps' overstock of '59 & '60 football cello packs. They would offer three authentic Topps cellos in rack pack form for only .19 cents!

<< <i>I asked about these on the Pack thread and Muggy basically said to stay away from them. Whats the deal? Are they all re-sealed? >>
Not a legit product released by Topps. Something put together in the secondary market after the fact.
