Some scans and highlights from most recent Group Rips

Figured I would share the swag plus I had a couple questions. First, how do they grade the 1978 OPCs with the side fuzz? I really like the Ryan, but the right side is noticeable. Guessing it precludes a 10, but do they consider it part of the standard issue. Also, do any of you have experience with the "orange haze" at eye level for the 1981 Topps Ryans? Might not be noticeable here. And opinions are welcome on the Vance Law as I saw 10s are going high. I do not think this one would make it but figured I'd check.

Good pulls. The 1979 OPC netted a Reggie, Pete Rose, and Tom Seaver. However they are off center, fuzzy, and the Seaver was ruined by a 33 year old piece of gum that wouldn't leave without some paper.

Other frustrations include an 83 Gwynn covered in wax and the same for a 78 OPC Fisk. Outside of that, a lot of fun.

Some nice hits on the 83 Topps. I'd say it worked out for you on the rip. I think I pulled one Boggs from a vending box and that was it. The OPC cards fuzz is normal and acceptable for the issue and PSA does not knock the grade down because of it. The centering looks great on that card, if the surface is clean, send that in for grading.

Was that 78 OPC Ryan from the last group of packs? That card is beautifully centered for this issue!

Yes. Ryan came from the last rip in one of the 2 Wax packs. Boggs all came from a wax box rip from the one before.
