    he's chillin with his kobe stopper. Did you notice how in the 4th ruben didn't even want none anymore. Ruben usual always guards kobe anytime.

    yeah kobe sucked with 34 points while shaq had 25 huh? Damn never any credit from non laker fans. SHAQ AND KOBE RULE!!!!

    yea, throw up 28 shots and hit 10, that's a GREAT percentage. You won't win many games if your shooting is at 35%

    the difference is that ya, kobe's shot wasn't on today but he was smart enough to take it to the hole and score or get fouled and go to the line...and scoring isn't everything, he played some pretty good defense as well..he had at least 3 blocks and who knows how many steals

    Kobe did not play well offensively at all. Yes, he had over 30 points, but he shot 36%, last time I checked, that wasn't very good. The only reason he had over 30 points, is because any time he got the ball they called a foul on whomever was guarding him, and 75% of the fouls called on Shaq and Kobe's defenders, weren't actually fouls. The refs know they are stars, so they give them calls all the time. But I will say, the Lakers outplayed the Blazers and deserved to win, but the refs need to learn what a foul is and isn't.

    shaq gets fouled on just about every play..he has too because he's so big and defenders are at his mercy..even the refs know that and they have to pick and choose which ones to call..

    it's really irrelevent to argue about stats. so and so scored this and so and so shot this %..do you think they care..theres only one stat that cares to them..and thats 1 win and 15 more to go

    IVERSON'S SHOOTING % IS 39% FOR A WHOLE SEASON AND YOU RAG ON KOBE FOR 1 GAME? Iverson gets all this credit for having the scoring title. Yet he takes the most shots, shoots 39% while kobe shoots 47%. Kobe wasn't even on his "A" game and still had 34. Oh I guess that circus shot by kobe wasn't good either? Man you ni66as are haterssssssssssssss

    Credit for what???They did outplay the Blazers, but if the refs called fouls when they were actually fouls, Kobe and Shaq wouldn't have nearly as many points as they did. But as I said, they outplayed the Blazers and they deserved to win (and I am a Blazer fan). But, it irks me that refs, will call a foul for the big super stars, even when there wasn't a foul. Point is, Kobe sucked on offense today.

    Yes, Iverson sucked at shooting this year. I'm not an Iverson fan anyways. The only thing that matters is who won and the Lakers did. I'm just saying, 3/4 of the fouls called on Kobe and Shaq's defenders, weren't actually fouls and that Kobe did horrible on offense today. But all that is irrelevant, because they won. I just wish, refs would call fouls the same for each team, no matter what teams are playing. I'm getting tired of super stars going to the basket, throwing up a crazy shot and missing, but the get to go to the line, because the refs think there is no way they could've missed the shot. Call it both ways.

    hell, look where philadelphia is now? they lost their first game. I'm not saying iverson is any better, if I had a team, I would not want iverson on it.

    Well, if Kobe would've shot at least 40% from the field, I would give him some credit. Yes, he had 34 points, but he wasn't great at the offense end at all. And for the record, I can't stand Patterson and he should be in jail as should all athletes, if they break the law (just like regular citizens).
