Grade these Skowrons, please

I'm subbing some vintage to PSA this week prior to selling, and debating including these '54 and '55 Skowrons. Thoughts on results? Thanks, Bob

In agreement with the other posters ... 6 (possibly 6.5 on a good grading day) and 5. Nice looking cards.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Yes, 6.5 seems reasonable on the '55 because of the great centering.
2.5 is pretty much my speed.
  • Thanks all, seems pretty consistent from folks with a much better eye than I have at this point. Hard to see the value in paying for PSA slab under a 7 on the 55 and a 6 on the rookie, so thanks!

Even if you do not sub them, they are still great looking raw cards for any collection.

I will take a stab as well

left top corner of first one keeps it from a 7 likely 6 could 6.5

bottom one is well worn 5.5 to 6.5 likely a 6

    Good luck nice cards

    RIP Moose

    Regards

Average VCP is about $30 for the '54 in a 5 and $20 for the '55 in a 6. eBay completed listings tells me I ought to be pretty close to that just listing as raw. Real value would come in a 7 slab. There are of course outliers either way. Thanks for all the feedback, really appreciate the input on this boards to a relative newbie.

  • ...and interesting to note that Topps used the same photo of Moose in both cards. Was this typical?
