Common date peace toner - should I submit?

There haven't been enough threads lately about toned peace dollars so I thought I'd start another. What are your opinions on this one? Bought a while back for a little over melt. Should I submit it under economy service? AT or NT? I have my own opinions but I'll wait to share them as I'd like to hear what others have to say first.

I agree. The coin isn't that appealing to me personally so I would say no, others may disagree. I am not convinced that the toning is original or market acceptable either.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I would say AT as well

Exactly

I see an edited post.
But still worth $20.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear
<< <i>The coin looks AU. I really don't see much positive outcome for you if it is submitted. >>
+1 but it looks NT
FWIW, these two "friends" were tagging along with the first one.
Edit to add: I soaked off the masking tape residue from the 2nd one above with acetone.
sense on that dollar to double your cost by grading fees added in. Common date and not
worth the time, effort or expense to slab.
But, it is your dollar!

What's funny is I already did. It was part of an experiment to see what affect acetone has on toning. You can see the results - basically no affect.

Just to be clear, I'm not interested in making money with this coin and I don't have plans to submit, just wanted to start conversation and hear others thoughts. I'm not in the slightest a peace dollar guy but I am interested in honing my AT vs. NT skills and learning more about what is market acceptable and what other people find attractive/not.
then you gotta submit.
The first two lack colors...

You might have been better off leaving the masking tape on this one!

Hehe, well actually it was just some ugly glue residue left over from the masking tape. That coin is interesting as an "end roll" type coin but that's about it.

It really depends on the coin situation I guess. This coin had very similar toning to yours and some acetone brought out some glittery sparkling luster that was under some of the crud. But if the luster is not there, which may be the case in your coin since its possibly an AU coin as many have pointed out, then maybe theres nothing there for the acetone to bring out. I was just taking a guess.
