OT: SpaceX Launch

I know another OT thread....still, had to congratulate SpaceX for the launch of Dragon 9.
As some of you know, I was a part of a team competing in the X-Prize a few years back, which one could argue led the path for SpaceX, and companies like them.
We were one of only 3 teams, from 16?, that actually launched and one of two teams that launched sometime twice, the other being Paul Allen and one of the great aviation minds of our time. But it's hard to feel to bad about getting beat by Allen, who i think spent like $25 million to win the $5 million dollar prize.
Like SpaceX, we went the rocket path, rather then like Paul Allen, who invented a unique glider/plane. The only thing worst in seeing $50,000 blow up in flames over the Pacific ocean, is watching it twice. Although I did learn one thing in it all, space rockets don't fit through doorways.
So, hats off to you SpaceX for pushing the bar a little higher. Looking forward to being able to buy a ticket in near future.

Dang straight.
It's a shame we've allowed our space program, which was once a crowning achievement, to become the piece meal it is today.
