Was talking to my favorite dealer a week ago and got on the subject of classic commeratives.
He said he had this stuff at home and said they were mine if I wanted.
Bought both at bid and he threw in the paperwork to boot. I'm very exited to have these!
I'd appreciate any comments and info. Like why are the coins 1946 and the correspondence 1957?
And..........This my 1000th post. Giveaway soon to follow. (No, it won't be these)
Aknowlegement of order envelope and letter.
Coin envelope, etc...

Thanks for posting them.
I wonder if in 1957 there was an article in a newspaper or coin collector magazine
that indicated that a Booker T. Washington organization still had 1946 coins for sale.

Can't a MS66 classic commem get a little love on it's own merits?
