1908 Struck Copper 25 Pfennig Pattern, 22.6mm, 4.4g., Schaaf 18G5
Obverse: Crown over shield containing Reich’s Eagle, ribbon behind. Text DEUTSCHES REICH 1908 separated with rosettes and bordered above and below with pearled border.
Reverse: Surrounded by beaded border denomination is placed between two rosettes followed by five lines of text with ‘Reich’ between two simple rosettes, date ‘1908’ below.
This is one of five 25 Pfennig designs Goetz created in 1908. I will post the others when time allows.
