I was going through my collection yesterday, and pulled out a few coins to photograph. Please feel free to comment and/or GTG. Thanks for looking!
Got this Oregon a few months back - I thought the color was kind of cool/different:
A dealer at a local show was nice enough to sell me this Morgan since she knows I like toners. I could tell she kind of wanted the coin for herself, but she let me have it (and didn't charge me a big premium either). Now I visit her table at every show....
This Buffalo kind of jumped out at me in the dealer's case, because it seemed to have a certain "flash" that the pics don't completely capture. It also has a subtle lilac tone that is not fully represented.
Finally, this Type 1 Buffalo is a coin I purchased as a YN ~30 years ago using money I saved up from a summer job, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. I bought it raw (graded MS65), but that was before the days of the grading services. I recently submitted it to our host for grading.
Thanks again for looking!
