The ladies are coming home tomorrow

A couple of ladies I sent in for fun. Had them for anywhere from a year (the 1896) to 5-8 years, sitting in flips and 2x2s.
As with the Franklin I posted in the other thread, I decided to have some fun recently and sent some in for the grade and for the TV pics to catch the $10 special.
I went through the binder and tried to choose MS63 min, and ones with some nice toning, and not all looking the same (ie...not all tab-toned, EOR, golden periphery, etc)
One or two may find their way back east for a small summer vacation to stickerville...haven't decided yet.
Here's a sampling of our house-ladies...
First up is a little lady who was a bit raw when I picked her up at a local show (I think it was from Pahrump Coins or something similar) late last year.
My boy liked the look, so we took her home. Forgot to add....we paid ~MS63 price and PCGS graded her MS64.
This little lady had been sitting in a local dealers 2x2s some years back (~2004 is when I think I got it...price on the 2x2 was $45 and he discounted to $30 since we got along great and I had bought more than a few from him). Dale had written "Pretty Toning" and MS63 on the 2x2. I agreed with the "Pretty toning"....it isn't a Battle Creek or a Monster, but it is nice and subtle. I disagreed with the MS63 but he said he likes to be conservative.
The ones I have bought from him, and have graded, have generally graded 1 above what he labeled them as (for morgans....not for copper )
PCGS agreed this was undergraded by him, without knowing it , and gave her a deserving MS65.
This little gal used to board with ex forum member, K6AZ. He knew his morgans and knew PCGS grading them as well. She has been with me for around 7-8 years now and finally got out of her ol' ratty 2x2 and into some shiny new plastic. Both k6az and PCGS agreed she is MS64. I like the peripheral toning.
And, finally, a tab-toned little lady. She's been with us for almost exactly 8 years. MS64 is what I graded her back then on the 2x2 and MS64 is what PCGS says she is.
In person, her toning is actually a tad darker....the light obviously lightens her up.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

<< <i>Nice coins Bochiman. Question for you, are these coins bright white in the untoned areas, or are they really pinkish like these "true views" show? >>
May be your monitor.
Are they "blast white"? Well, not as white as the background in the trueview.
Are they "pinkish"? Not really to my eyes, but neither are the trueviews to my eyes on my monitors (2 different sets of monitors). The toning is, for the most part, pretty accurate and the "white" areas may need to be tweaked just a little, but then that would be post-processing and people would be up in arms

Johnny, you and my son both
He liked it for that reason to. I think it was the first real EOR he has seen.

I don't see any pink on those ladies either on my monitor.
Nice coins indeed!
