1909 S Indian cent-I need some expert help

numbersmannumbersman Posts: 1,039 ✭✭✭✭
Been buying some small collections lately "in the wild" and was given a bag of indian head cents (approximately 1500 of them) to make an offer. After painstakingly searching coin after coin, with about only 150 left,I find this coin.I have showed pics of it to a friend who feels, without actually physically examining the coin, the mint mark may be in question.I have physically examined it and I find no reason to doubt it is the real thing but now he's got me questioning it.Please let me know if there is conclusive evidence one way or the other(short of sending it out for authentication as I don't own the coin yet). Also,if I'm not pushing it,best guess at the grade would be greatly appreciated as well.THANKS in advance! imageimage
