1909 S Indian cent-I need some expert help

Been buying some small collections lately "in the wild" and was given a bag of indian head cents (approximately 1500 of them) to make an offer. After painstakingly searching coin after coin, with about only 150 left,I find this coin.I have showed pics of it to a friend who feels, without actually physically examining the coin, the mint mark may be in question.I have physically examined it and I find no reason to doubt it is the real thing but now he's got me questioning it.Please let me know if there is conclusive evidence one way or the other(short of sending it out for authentication as I don't own the coin yet). Also,if I'm not pushing it,best guess at the grade would be greatly appreciated as well.THANKS in advance!

the MM has the correct position, but when i blow up your image it has too much pixelation to confirm authenticity

<< <i>Lance,if you provide me your email address I can send you this same pic but a bit larger(without this site compression)and you will get a better looksie. >>
lets try 1 thing first :-)
take the original image, probably a couple MB to a few MB in size.
drag it directly into paint, it should appear very large if your camera settings are for max resolution
you can zoom out allowing you to see the whole image
then select all the image and move it so that it removes the borders
after you do this for the obv/rev what you have left is the max resolution image without the borders :-)
the images will be quite large - guess all you need to post really is the reverse for now
good luck

Hello, quick acetone treatment....
Well, just Love coins, period.
ok
after many many comparisons as close up as the original images allow for
even though it is in the right position
i think authentication is required because the mm upon close inspection displays too many differences
i give it a 50/50 at this point

As for a technical grade? To my eyes it looks to be in the VG-10 to F-12 range.
I like it.
