CONSPIRACY THEORY

Just a few short months ago you could use the cheap 45 day submission and get your cards back in a week. I did it. Obviously when we were getting such great service for a low priced 45 day submission there was no need to use the higher priced shorter turn around submisssions. Did PSA wise up? They know as a whole we are impatient. They get their money up front so there is no advantage to them to ship them or not. They knew if the service level of the 45 day submission started to actually take 45 days or longer more amd more people would start using the shorter turn around submissions.I already have. They in turn would see a huge cash increrase without doing anything besides holding orders longer. If you add just a dollar to every card they grade that would be a huge increase in revenue. IF the number of submissions were shrinking this would be an easy fix for the lost revenue. You think this is a viable theory or no.

I just received my last CC sub which popped in 8 days, so I'd say the answer is no.

Was it a 10 day sub?

Wouldn't it be easier to just stop offering the 45-day special rather than engage in some "conspiracy?" In other words, if they felt the 45-day special/submission wasn't worth it economically, they would just drop it. Therefore, no "conspiracy." The most plausible reason for the delay is that they're simply inundated by submissions.
