Not US Mint made but certainly a US coin or the equivalent!

In a milky white NCS holder. Obviously not conserved but just entombed into plastic
for preservation. In the Western US there was often a shortage of coins for general use
and normal purchases. Many Bars, Casinos, Hotels, Brothels, etc, issued tokens to be
used in place of coins. The Brunswick Bar in Billings no longer exists but this merchandise
token does. Just a warm piece of Western history. I have never seen this milky white
holder before, new to me.

I don't think they had a cure for syphilis back then.

I have a 1795 half dollar in one of those holders, that's what they used to use for "details" coins. Really hideous things, imo, glad they use the standard holder now with a different label.

Tom, glad you opened my thread but sorry you did not read the title!
In fact it is US made, metal, a disc and designed to be used in trade. Coin?
Just not US Mint made is that what you meant?

I did read the title, and responded accordingly.
It is not a coin.
This needs to stop right now.
Please proceed with the thread.
