    Cool thread.

With that said, I would be uncomfortable with the thread if I were in control at PCGS. Maybe I am jaded, but does PCGS really want the backoffice operations open to the public in this nature? Liability issue in my humble opinion not to mention insight for the counterfeiting bretheren in Asia to review.

Kinda bothers me that there was Junk food laying around in the Grading room and the person putting the coin in slab wasn't wearing any gloves or finger condoms.

At the very least wear finger condoms. Jebus.

the person putting the coin in slab wasn't wearing any gloves or finger condoms.

Here's why, from the Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: Why don't graders and sealers wear gloves while handling coins?
A: PCGS graders and sealers are experts in the proper care and handling of coins. While gloves offer additional protection, they reduce the tactile sensations necessary to properly manipulate coins during the grading process and could increase the chance of dropping a coin.
